1. Joaquin Phoenix

He almost sat for three hours a day for this character transformation by doing makeup or adding layers to it. He was so perfectly transformed that he even went to Starbucks without getting caught by the fans.

It is revealed that he survives on a liquid diet and does a proper treadmill workout for nine months just for this role. He even gets his tattoos removed.

He adds that he follows a tight diet, which includes coffee and an apple a day with a strict calorie portion. This shows his commitment and dedication as an actor, and it amazes the viewers with this physical transition.
