Since last decade, the trend of making sequels and remakes of popular but old movies has started. Some iconic movies, TV shows, and comedy series have been revived. However, some made millennials' childhoods exciting and are still in the forgotten queue. Let’s have an insight into some of the memorable sitcoms from the past.

1. Daria (1997)

Dara's thing was facing the challenges of teenage life with a sense of wittiness. The entire exploration of the character going through the fundamental challenges of life such as the meaning of life, identity, mental health, societal norms, and typical societal pressure gives several long-lasting impressions. The revival of the revival of Daria will be a wish come true of most of the audience.

2. Darkwing Duck (1991)

The beloved series of the 90s had the best combo of witty humor and superhero thriller. At that time it captured the children's hearts and made them wish to have superpowers. Not only this, but most of its dialogues were famous among children. A remake of  Darkwing Duck will honor the original classic series.

3. Wishbone (1995)

The classical depiction of the Jack Russell Terrier adventures was truly phenomenal. In the small town of Oakdale, the story revolves around the challenges of growing up and surviving in the small town. With the help of  Wishbone, the young owner, Joe, and his friends find ways to face all the ups and downs. A remake would be the rebirth of this classic adventure series.

4. The Secret World of Alex Mack (1994)

Depicting the life of Alex Mack with the accidental power gain, this was the all-time favorite fictional series. The chemical spill enables Alex to generate electricity, but to live an everyday life she tries to keep it hidden. In this digital, a reboot of this will best depict powers and lessons of empowerment, self-discovery, and justice for Gen Z.

5. Sweet Valley High (1994)

The story of identical twins and the ups and downs of their high school life. It was one of the famous series based on high school life in the 90’s. However, today, remaking this would take back the audience to their favorite childhood series that they loved by heart. While crediting the original, it would convey the lessons of friendship, hatred, and laughter.

6. Hey Dude (1989)

It follows the adventures of teenagers on a summer camp in the Arizona desert. Living in the desert and dealing with horses and prairie dogs made this series iconic. Teamwork has a long-lasting impact on all the friends, who learn many lessons. With innovative depictions of the desert and the livelihood of people living there, it would be an excellent idea to remake this series.

7. The Ben Stiller Show (1992)

It was an ultimate TV hit with excellent leading roles like Ben Stiller, Janeane Garofalo, etc. Remaking it would be a fantastic way to regard the original classic artist in the series and give the new comedic talent, invaluable content. 90s kids would love to watch the reboot at the reunion and get together.

8. Grace Under Fire (1993)

We all know this series where Grace Kelly returns to face modern life challenges. The resilience of a single mother will be thoughtful to the audience and youngsters today. Casting the diverse artists today would be a rebirth of the original series. 

9. Mad TV (1995)

Some comedic series from the past never get old. If you ask any millennial about the series Mad TV, he’ll affirm that it was popular and a favorite among children when he was a kid. Making it again would spread loads of laughter and sweet flashbacks to childhood to all the ’90s kids.

10. The Wayans Brothers (1995)

Shawn and Marlon were the leading characters of this show. Hilarious sibling rivalry and signature comedy were popular aspects of this show. A phenomenal remake with lessons of brotherhood, trust, and living life with your loved ones will be a great hit undoubtedly.
