10 Places Some People Would Never Consider Moving To

Who doesn't dream of exploring the world? Obviously, everyone likes some destinations that they dream of moving to or at least visiting for once. Also, there will be some places that they ‌ dislike and would never visit. It may be either due to their experiences at that place or by overhearing someone else's terrible experience. On an online platform, people shared the places where they would never move to, even for free.

1. Vorkuta

Located to the North of the Arctic Ocean, Vorkuta is a European town. According to a commenter, its residents are already selling their properties at cheap prices and are trying to escape from there. 

He further adds that after the collapse of the USSR, Vorkuta was completely abandoned. Businesses were shut down. Mines were closed. Soon, it will be a completely dead place to live.

2. Houston

It is an American city that most people dream of visiting. But a person warns about how horrible it is to move there. He doesn't like its hot weather, jam-packed traffic, high taxes, lack of hospitals, and poor schooling there.

However, the high crime rate with guns and gangs everywhere makes it even worse.

3. Nouakchott

Nouakchott is the capital of Mauritania. Located at the coastline of Africa and the Sahara, Nouakchott is not suggested as a good option to move to by a contributor.

He points out the danger of moving there. He indicates it as an oppressive place because of dictatorship and threat to everyone's life. 

4. Bogota

This diversified city of Columbia is disliked by a commenter. He finds the place good overall, but the traffic there makes him go crazy. He is a family man who prefers to spend time with his family and doesn't want to waste his precious time on the road that could have been spent with his family. 

Moreover, the inequality and safety issues add to his disliking.

5. Louisville

Despite being Kentucky's largest city and home to a couple of celebrities, someone shares how miserable it can be to live there. How the cops killed a woman, flashbanged a baby, and she herself was harassed by them. Also, the extreme tornadoes do not make it a good place to move to.

Imagine how dangerous this place can be as he states that the Cops in Gary themselves ask people to keep going and not to stop at red lights or signals. Frankly speaking, It sounds like the scariest city to me.

8. Mogadishu

Mogadishu is the largest city in Somalia, with over 2 million people living in it. It's quite unsafe to visit Somalia due to its insanely high crime rate. Piracy, terrorism, kidnapping, and murder make it difficult to survive over there. 

A user shares that the State Department website suggests avoiding solo trips to Somalia as its result will surely be their death.

9. Miami
