1. Angelina Jolie

Jolie has been part of many charities and actively participates in donating to welfare organizations. In 2001, she was appointed a Special Convoy to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. As per her role, she carried out more than 50 field missions alongside developing her own foundation: the Jolie-Pitt Foundation. Jolie has inspired change by standing up for the Palestinian cause and building schools in Afghanistan and Kenya.

Similar to her role as Hermione, a champion of underprivileged voices, Emma Watson has adopted this philanthropic cause in real life, too. In 2014, she was appointed as a U.N. Goodwill Ambassador, where she led the U.N. Women's HeforShe campaign. The campaign was about gender equality and standing against negative labeling as stakeholders. Watson frequently donates millions of dollars to charity as well. 

3. George & Amal Clooney

Amal Alamussin Clooney is a human rights lawyer who focuses on representing refugees and marginalized communities. Amal was also part of a three-person U.N. commission investigating rules of war violations in the Gaza Strip. Together with her husband, George Clooney, they founded the Clooney Foundation to further their cause of helping vulnerable communities. Together, the couple has donated millions of dollars to charities for impoverished and displaced people.

Since her global fame, Beyoncé has been involved in many notable causes, such as founding the Survivor Foundation, which provides transitional housing and means of help for displaced families after hurricanes. She has always stood up for Black Lives, has openly donated millions to notable charities, and has started a Black-Owned Small Business Impact Fund, which provides grants to Black-owned small businesses. Through the Fund, she has raised over $7 million.

John Cena was one of the first celebrities to grant 650 wishes as a part of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. This foundation grants wishes to kids fighting terrible illnesses. Cena has been doing his art for this foundation since 2002 and has stated many times that he would drop everything for a chance to offer someone a fantastic experience. He has been involved in many charitable projects and has donated millions.

The well-known pop star has been active in multiple charity events (Comic Relief, Red Cross), such as his famous Believe Charity Driver, where a portion of his album sales was donated to seven charitable foundations, such as Pencils of Promise, Musicians on Call, and Make-A-Wish Foundation. Bieber has also fulfilled more than 250 wishes for kids with terminal diseases as part of the Make-A-Wish foundation.

The infamous Dolly Parton founded the Dollywood Foundation in the 80s to help decrease the number of high school dropouts. Over the years, she has started a Scholarship fund in her name while raising $500,000 for a hospital by holding a charity concert. She openly donated a million dollars for coronavirus research and took full tuition responsibility for employees working at the Dollywood Foundation!
