1. Hannibal (2013-2015)

With Mads Mikkelsen playing the lead role, Hannibal gets the first spot on our list. The plot of the show is about how a criminal profiler searching for sanity meets a forensic psychiatrist, Dr.Hannibal Lecter. What he doesn't know is that Hannibal Lecter is secretly a cannibal. The show continued for three seasons and was called off after the third season, leaving fans disappointed.

2. Sense8 (2015-2018)

The Netflix Original drama series Sense8 talks about the story of eight strangers connected through a series of violent visions. Hunted down for being a potential threat, they must all look for a way to survive. The famous filmmakers Lily & Lana Wachowski released two seasons of the show but canceled it due to a low budget. Though the show had a low viewership, it made some loyal fans who anticipated another season.

3. The OA (2016-2019)

The next show making its way to our list is another Netflix Original named The OA. The show begins as a previously blind woman returns home after a seven-year disappearance. Shocked to hear that she is no longer blind, people start to see her as a danger to them. It premiered on television for two seasons, and after that, it was decided that there would be no more seasons.

4. Mindhunter (2017-2019)

From the director of Se7en and Fight Club, Mindhunter is a psychological thriller that focuses on criminal investigations in the 1970s. The show is about two F.B.I. agents who study the minds of criminals, giving birth to modern killer profiling. Mindhunter ran for two seasons but had to be canceled later on for being too expensive to produce. Fans were sad knowing they would not see more of their favorite season.

5. Heroes (2006-2010)

Next on our list is the American television series that started off incredibly well. Heroes is a show that revolves around the story of people who develop superhuman abilities. It shows how these people use their abilities to save mankind from catastrophes and destruction. The show lost its viewership over the years and was discontinued after four seasons. Some loyal viewers, however, still wanted the creators to make another season.

6. Daredevil (2015-2018)

Starring Charlie Fox as Matt Murdock, Daredevil first aired on television in April 2015. The show talks about how the blind lawyer Matt Murdock deals with his challenging life while fighting crime at night. Daredevil premiered for three seasons, gaining quite alot of attention from fans and critics. Considering the way the last season ended, there was surely more to the story, but the show was canceled, unfortunately.

7. I Am Not Okay with This (2020)

I Am Not Okay with This is a television series based on the life of a teenager. The show explains how a seventeen-year-old deals with complexities in her life alongside her newly found superpowers. With only a single season to its name, the show was released during the pandemic, and it became popular among viewers. The reason it was canceled only after one season was the high production cost.

8. Agent Carter (2015-2016)

Marvel's Action thriller T.V. series Agent Carter is next on our list of famous canceled T.V. shows. Featuring Hayley Atwell, the series revolves around the life of Peggy Carter after her boyfriend, Steve Rogers, is feared dead. In the show, Peggy can be seen secretly working for S.H.I.E.L.D. The two seasons, in total, generated a mediocre response, leading to the cancellation of the show.

9. All Rise (2019-2023)

This American series premiered in 2019, and after just three seasons, the series was discontinued and left the fans disappointed. All Rise is about the hectic life of cops, prosecutors, lawyers, and judges working at the Los Angeles County courthouse. The show was quite popular among the viewers, and according to the fans, they found the show engaging and entertaining.

10. Timeless (2016-2018)

An American science fiction series, Timeless, only went on air for two seasons and was stopped right after. The show premiered on N.B.C. on October 3, 2016. The star cast included Abigail Spencer and Matt Lanter. The plot of Timeless is about a criminal who stoles a time machine with an ambition to destroy America. A trio that contains a scientist, a soldier, and a history professor goes back in time to capture the culprit. The fans were quite disappointed as they were expecting more from the story.
