Who would want to live in a place where you'd be stuck in traffic for hours? Due to these traffic nightmares, you would feel that there can never be a good time to go out in California. If you get stuck one time, it means your hour is completely wasted, and you can't do anything.

You can't imagine the rate of taxes in California. The base rate is around 7%, and the maximum taxes are around 13%. These taxes make it challenging to survive in these cities. Hence, people avoid living there because property taxes also touch the skies.

No one wants to live in a country where you will be hit by a natural calamity every other day. Whether an earthquake or wildfire, these disasters are common in California. Moreover, these disasters cause financial issues and instability for the citizens, which is another hurdle.

You would see high crime rates in some parts of California, which is disturbing for the citizens. Although not all parts of California suffer from this, some areas have a huge crime rate. Moreover, this high level of crime causes insecurity among the citizens, which is feared.

Getting a suitable and affordable place to live is another struggle in California. You wouldn't believe that the monthly income rates of houses have reached around $5500, which means total destruction. It means getting a rented place has become another luxury for the common people, which is a basic necessity.

You won't imagine how many small business opportunities this country has offered. However, it is difficult to establish or grow a small business in this country. This is mostly due to high tax regulations and legal procedures. Hence, most people don't find it suitable to live in California.

It is not easy to find the quickest healthcare facilities in California. Even if you get it, the cost is so high that you can't afford it. Furthermore, getting insurance coverage is not easy because it is tied to your traditional job requirements. Hence, a lot of policies make it difficult to afford healthcare.

If you have money, you can only survive in California; otherwise, you have no chance. To enjoy Californian life, you must have a stable income stream. Otherwise, your life would only be spent paying taxes and gas bills. Hence, meeting the basic standards is also sometimes difficult.

Talking about public education, we are hugely disappointed by the Californian system. It doesn't bring a bright future for the students. The people living in California have to adopt a private school system to improve their children's lives. Hence, it is also a less considerate place for the families.

People who live away from the coast actually advise against coming there. The temperature mostly hits around 95°F or 100°F, which is common in summer and disastrous for the citizens. Hence, it is actually unbearable to adjust to this extreme weather while paying a lot of money on rent.

Apart from the central city, you won't find the proper transportation system in California. For this reason, private cars are preferable, but they burden the residents' pockets. Hence, it is another challenging factor for people to live in this state. Usually, people get their water, and you would be left with no water. Therefore, it's not a happy choice to live there.
