I've been in this role of fun videos lately. And here's another one here are awkward questions about money. Yes, they're embarrassing and yes, they're all I mean truly the better question is what's the good money I've spent on Romance. The answer is very little but there's plenty of bad stuff. So here's the worst the worst is I'm finished with a four year relationship.
I take some time off. Of the dating Shane and this is the very first young woman that I met and we go out and have an enjoyable time and whatever I do the justice of it's actually your birthday weirdly enough first date birthday, and I asked her what she wanted and she wanted a globe what early a globe I thought hmm.
That's interesting. I then go through the trouble of figuring out where she works. And I buy her a globe and send it to her. You think that's sweet, right? But when you first meet somebody not so much I then again know where she works and she is in though. I know it visit her at her workplace make her feel very uncomfortable and it was a very very bad situation.
However, She still received the gift and I think she uses it or looks at it. I don't know but it was way too much way too fast, and I definitely learned a lesson slow. I remember when I first started exercising and really taking diet and nutrition very seriously. I bought so many supplements so many little things and they were so stupid every single one of them.
I look back years later and think why did I spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars on things that have no scientific evidence have a study that is not FDA approved and literally have people saying they're good just because they're being paid. Hmm sounds like cronyism to me. Anyhow, I spent a ton of money on stupid supplements and stupid nutrition stuff that I look back and I thought it was going to make me a better person, but I'm reality.
It just made my morning routine a lot more complicated. Oh man. This one's embarrassing. There's quite a few but probably the most recent one is buying s'mores. Yeah, it's not really summer. Yeah, there's not really any campfire or camping going on. However, I buy the graham crackers the Hershey's and the marshmallows.
I keep in my cupboard and when I'm having a. not so hot day I go to the marshmallow. I can't believe I'm saying this I go to the marshmallow put on the graham cracker put in my toaster oven put my timer for two and a half minutes. Two and a half minutes later. I have a perfectly yes perfectly toasted marshmallow and it's a guilty pleasure.
And I think this is the first time I've ever told they're shown anyone so feel privileged. This is a tough one. I used to be very cheap when it comes to food and I realized that's not always the best case. All right sheep on. Hmm. Not turning on the AC. I live in California as a lot of you know, and it is freaking hot here sometimes and I literally shorts t-shirt flip-flops in my house.
It feels like a sauna and I probably should spend more money on that. Especially when I do videos late at night because sometimes it's freaking hot. I'm little you guys can't see it. Thankfully it's morning right now. But if this is the evening video you'd be able to see or not see the sweat rolling down my back and the sweat on my brow, which is quite obvious.
If you look close enough, so maybe turning on my AC a little more that would probably be a good idea the Matthew principle to who has been given much will be given everything to whom who has given nothing. Everything will be taken away or given a little will be everything to be taken away. So the fact that matters when you're given something multiplied.
It don't just put in a savings account. Don't just put it in your safe and hope it grows do something with it. Multiply it make it cash flow positive people who are good with money are always multiplying their. They're not in a fear-based mindset there in a freedom based mindset, which means they may lose it they may not but that being said risk risk risk and do it in a way that it's going to multiply you may lose it and that's life.
However, Tis better to have loved and lost than to not have loved at all. Yeah, very Shakespearean. Right? So it's better to take a risk and fail the never take a risk and never know whether you can succeed or fail. Multiply the money make sure your Roi is continuing to grow everything. I don't even know where to start not eating out every single meal meal prepping once a week.
spending. Quite a bit of money on personal development and reading in 2009. I didn't ring it read a single book unless it was required by School. Now, I read about a book every two weeks and reading is something very valuable because. a smart person learns from their own mistakes a genius learns from the mistakes of others or the testimony of others.
So instead of me living through everything myself. You yourself? We can step into someone else's shoes when they've written it down and understand where they're coming from and not make the same mistakes and make the same steps to succeed that they did. So personal development and reading reading reading and listening to podcasts just feeding my intellectual side because I realized when people don't have a mission or don't have a meaning in life.
They stray from their non determinant path. And there's something very profound about having a very determined path and seeing it through this are the questions and I a lot of fun doing those.
