video transcript

How important is physical health to you? Well, that's pretty much the reason I spend over $100 each month on gym membership. And this is a point of contention for almost all the Frugal groups. I'm part of and all the other Finance bloggers because everyone says, you know do it at home ten dollars a month.

You can watch videos whenever you want. However, here are seven reasons why I choose the spend three digits a. On a gym membership first reason it starts my day off right I'm able to go into an environment where people are pursuing Health pursuing and bettering themselves as opposed to just hopping on the highway or freeway and dealing with people who are going to work and usually not very happy about it because the first cup of coffee has not kicked in so it gives me.

A very very good thing to do early in the morning because early in the morning, I'm usually not at my sharpest. All right second off. Can we just put the water slide up? They have a freaking water slide, which is awesome disclaimer. I have not used it yet, but I see the kids go down a and I am super excited to use it this summer vast majority of people.

I've met there are quite enjoyable the workers. Even the maintenance and operation people who take the towels out and do the laundry. They're actually quite enjoyable. I haven't I haven't met very many people who have extreme negative energy may be neutral I'd say especially when it's you know, 5:05 a.m.

And you're doing someone else's laundry, but that's not really the. Share there's been members as well people have met and it's just it's very very nice one when you get to a place where people are spending a little bit more money than your you know, 995 Jim there's a different people who go there and the people I've dealt with so far and then and encounter encountered have been quite enjoyable.

I have forced accountability. And Monday at 5:45 p.m. When I walk in the spin class. I know who's going to be to my right who's going to be in front of me. I know who the instructor is going to be. I have forced accountability and when you're creating a new habit or. Maintaining a consistently good habit.

It's very difficult to do it alone. I don't think anyone can do it alone. It's just it's just we're not meant we're not wired like that as humans were wired to be with others that Community aspect and having that accountability is very helpful for me to stay consistent when I was younger. I used to wake up on the weekends and pretty much every day as much as I could after 9:00 10:00 a.m.

Just because I could. Just because I wanted to wake up later. No reasoning. However in my adulthood now, I Justified waking up at 454 am almost every single day and let me tell you you have to really strong reason to wake up that early and thankfully the gym opens at 5:00 a.m. So I can go have my forced accountability as well as start my day off.

And I now have a legitimate excuse to set my alarm before the roosters crow. Yes before back to the forced accountability for a second. It was so awesome. Very quick story. I was finishing a group class. It's a aerobics class for you literally sweat. It looks like. You've taken a bath. That's how much everybody sweats it's heated as well as we do a bunch of jumping jacks burpees just a bunch of crazy stuff that in the last an hour and this guy came after me in the locker room named Philip and Philip said you were killing them there and I thought to myself.

Wow, that's really nice from to say that and it was his first time going there and he said I was using you as an example to do the right thing my heart felt so warm in that moment. It was great. So again forced accountability Philip is going to be there next week to hold me accountable. And then lastly my cardiovascular health has improved greatly I've gone from about a 80 beats per minute resting heart rate to between 57 and 62 pending upon the day and that's really important because the less this heart beats and rest the will longer it's going to last well.

Hopefully, I don't know when the heart's going to end. But I'm gonna do everything in my power to make sure I have no as little plaque in my veins as possible and have a very very good health because I want to live a long time and stay consistent throughout life and then lastly leave a super cool cafe cafecito.

No not coffee a cafe a little coffee shop area that is super fun to work in. And I really enjoyable Spock of the sequel and way up to him and say hi. And the chairs are very comfortable. That's the big thing. They're higher up chairs. They have cushions and I do work in there quite a bit my headphones on noise canceling headphones.

So I don't hear all the smoothies being made and I sometimes stay there for three four five six hours. It's very very good place to concentrate. Although there's lots of hustle and bustle like any other coffee shop when I need a place where. I want to be outside of my home because when I stay here a lot who I go a little stir-crazy so using the cafe has been a absolutely Savior and efficiency and how much time I spend outside of the house because the more time I spent outside of the house the better that's my reasoning.

Other people have their own reasoning that's mine. I think I've pretty good reasons and until those reasons change. I'm going to keep doing the same thing. But what do you guys spend on the gym? How much is the month? Is it worth it? Do you like it? Do you want to come to my Cafe my waterslide?

I'll get you a guest pass comment below. I want to see what you guys have to say, make sure to subscribe and like this video as well and I will catch you guys on the flip side.
