Becoming rich is a process.
Being rich is a mindset.
Here are 7 things to do each morning to become rich.
Like most things in life. getting rich is a process. It's not something you can snap your fingers in the will happen. Unless you're born trust fund baby, which I was not however, there's a really important thing that most guys just seems like overwhelmingly a majority of rich people do every single day and that's having a significant morning routine.
Here's the morning routine. I use to have myself become rich more and more each day First Step wake up before the sun and you can manipulate this because in the summer the sun comes up a little bit earlier. So the winter you can sleep in I'll Jokes Aside waking up before the sun simply gives me more time to do things that matter like.
Things I want to talk about the important things not the grinding grinding grinding looking at a computer all day doing my menial administrative tasks. I'm talking about the thinking about what your life is about thinking about what you're actually going to do that's more than just the day-to-day and waking up before the sun.
You have the opportunity to that before anybody else is awake. Don't look at any technology. I don't care what it is computer phone tablet. Nothing. Nothing nothing until this process is complete nothing. Yes. My phone is on do not disturb until seven o'clock every single day. Meaning. Nobody can call me text me notifications are pushed.
So I don't see anything in the morning literally anything and the reason I do this is because. Again, focusing on things that actually matter and not the tyranny of the Urgent emails or someone's asking a question or advertisements those our time and energy suckers in the morning and I only have so much energy to spend the morning and I'd rather do that on something that's actually more worthwhile like this video.
Spend at least 10 minutes. Yes. It's a short amount of time. But do it every single day in meditation prayer and gratitude. No matter what your affiliation with the man above is there's things to be grateful for a lot of things that I did not choose. I did not choose to be born in the United States.
I did not choose to be able to speak English fluently. I did not choose to be this damn handsome. However, there's lots of other things to be grateful for and it's good. Good good every morning to spend a little bit of time and focus on something other than yourself like family friends the world.
The greater humankind whatever it is focusing on something that your gracious for and that is one thing but continually expressing that over and over and over like literally. This is my morning gratitude. I'm thankful for shoes. I'm thankful for pocket squares. I'm thankful for the ability to use both my eyes the ability to have for functioning Limbs and 10 function fingers.
Those are really important things. There's there. Things I have every single day and I forget about them, but it's very very good thing to remind myself that I am blessed and you probably are way more than you take. Into account now the thing I do is read. Not reap tweets not right Instagram because I haven't picked up my phone yet.
Hmm. But read something useful. I usually use my Kindle which is. I guess technically technology but I Justified on this. I read a book personal finance book personal development book biography autobiography sun. It's going to enrich my life in some way. I love reading biographies of people who have gone on to the next life and accomplish something really important or invented something just to get into their head because the written word is so powerful.
We can live through someone's experience and not even have to experience the hardship of what they've been through and to me that is super important. Right now I'm reading the gulag archipelago by Schultz and listen, forgive me on my Russian, but it's long story short. It's about the gulag camps and Soviet Russia between 1910 and 40 approximately crazy stuff reality though communism and socialism sucks period but read something useful.
the next would be to read or listen to something inspirational it can even be. Video on YouTube perhaps that gets you excited it can it can always be something in the morning. I have this this Daily Devotional called The Daily stoic and I just reminds me that. The day-to-day is great. However, there's so much more that I'm working on and that's really a more important than the menial tasks.
I do the day-to-day and reminds me to Center myself around why am I doing this? Because why? Is the only reason I persevere forward exercise. There's something about endorphins and drugs and feeling happy and excited about the day that gives me extreme vitality and energy to literally conquer anything in my path.
Yes, that sounds Rosie. And yes, it's the truth both not every single day. I wake up super excited. I'll be honest. It's actually more days than not I feel here we go. Here we go. Let's do it again. And that's not a bad thing having a process having something. I do every single day is not a bad thing and it's very encouraging.
Because exercise helps in so many different ways. It helps me stay healthy in my heart healthy and my mind healthy in my psyche healthy everywhere and instead of taking a lead pipe to the people. I don't like. Although I think about it. Sometimes I don't act on it though. I'm quite passive when it comes to violence.
I'm not violent. However, I can be violent with the weights with my spin class with aerobics something of that nature to really really get that aggression out because then I can focus on things that really matter like. building myself up and becoming a better person each and every day. With the small steps, and it doesn't have to be a one-hour intense huge huge huge big deal work out.
It can be something as simple as walking around the block for 15 minutes that simple then some time working on your business and life and not in it working in. It would be checking emails replying to emails. checking social media. Making phone calls whatever that is. Whatever the in the the task you need to complete your to-do list for the day, but I'm not working on.
What is the trajectory of your life going forward of your business going forward. What are the things long-term going to accomplish what needs to be done today to make sure those are going to be accomplished. What's the reason you're here on this Earth? What's your true? True true meaning in life?
Those are all really really tough questions and I'm still working through them. However, they're super important if you don't know what you're aiming at. How are you ever supposed to accomplish it? Because the fact of the matter is if you don't know what you're aiming at someone else is gonna aim for you and pull the trigger for you, which is no fun.
It makes you very resentful towards whoever's pulling the trigger and you want to have that control and some time working on. On what the trajectory of your life is going to be what going forward you really really really want to accomplish and what brings true meaning to what you do every single day because honestly throw the rest of it out if you don't have meaning and what you're doing you're doing it completely completely aimlessly.
And then lastly I begin reframing everything from I have to wake up to I get to wake up. It's a very small change. It's one word. What have to get. But so powerful so powerful. I have to go to work. I have to work I get to work. I have to exercise I get to exercise. Because the reality is all they can be taken away in a snap.
Which is not to discourage you or me. It's actually two in Courage for me because. I get to live this life I get to be 6 feet above Earth right now and I'm probably about five I get to do this how blessed and how lucky am I to be able to do what I do every single day. And really that's all of us.
That's not just me. Although I feel that my life is pretty darn awesome the trajectory of my life. I am super happy about and I'm really excited about it. And I'm super excited what's going to happen next the next chapter, but that does have to be that doesn't have to be because of my circumstances that can be because I'm choosing to work on myself and I get to live this life and that is a huge huge huge blessing.
I'm back to gratitude. We are so much more blessed and so much more privileged than you actually know take us to take a moment breathe and look around you and just look at the things that you're blessed with feel in your body how blessed you are look at the greater world and see that. If you live in America and make more than 34,000 dollars a year approximately.
You're in the top 1% of the world. Congratulations, you've made it to the top one percent. But the now the question is, what are you going to do with it? And that's the trajectory. That's something I work on every single day. And that's something you gotta focus on that's the morning routine of rich people and this rich guy here and I feel rich not just in material possessions.
I feel rich in health. Rich in. Just every part of life spirituality mental health physical health. I just feel very very blessed and very very awesome going forward doesn't mean there's not any setbacks. It just means I'm looking at the positive positive things and the more and more you look at positive things the more and more they're going to be easily seen because the reality is as humans is easy to see negative things because the negative things can kill you can end your life and the positive things can only incrementally make your life a little better.
However, I choose every single day to look at the positive thing the positive side realistically though, so it's not don't be rose-colored glasses on but know that you are immensely blessed. That's the steps. What do you guys do in the morning to make your morning routine help you become rich in every area of Life cam below.
