In a classical sense, it is seen that the hero is always exemplary, whether it's about his actions or statements, and the bad guy is always immoral, but there is an exception to this belief. It is seen in many movies and shows that the villain's point of view makes much more sense than the hero's. Some TV shows and films prove that villains could have the correct standpoint.
1. Top Gun (1986)
It's one of the extensively prominent military movies with big names like Tom Cruise. The main story is about a naval fighter training school where pilots train to polish and enhance their skills. Our users pointed out that the villain was more relaxed and collected than the hero. Iceman understood that the commander did not care about the safety protocol rather than the target and knew that Maverick was dangerous and unpredictable.
2. Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)
An individual on an online source said they could understand the motive behind the revenge of the villain Thor (Christian Bale) in Thor Love and Thunder within the first few minutes. The villain was also the sufferer. His whole family got killed, and his god didn't care for him. They were too self-centered. Everyone manipulated him for their advantage, which infuriated him and became the primary justification for his villain arc.
3. Inhumans (2017)
A user commented that the entire season of Inhumans showed how moral ethics were not deemed and domineering prevailed. He elucidated the story's plot that the people of an inhuman society get exposed to a gas that causes a mutation in people. The people who get attractive modifications live promising lives, and the unfortunate ones live a life of oppression. The villain, Maximus (Iwan Rheon), who should be evaluated as the hero, thinks the system is unfair and attempts to free enslaved people.
4. The Star Wars Trilogy
In the context of the newer Star Wars trilogy, a user was disappointed that Finn, played by John Boyega, introduced as a stolen child, was considered a hero. Still, the others like him were stolen and were made to be troopers with similar backgrounds; they were painted as destructive men. Finn and the other troopers' only difference was that these troopers were still enslaved.
5. High School Musical 2 (2007)
High School Musical 2, starring Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, and Miley Cyrus, is about teenagers on their summer break planning to have enjoyment. Still, they are short of money and need to get jobs to enjoy by saving up money. One of the users commented that Troy was assumed a villain just because he wanted to set his future as a basketball player on the school team.
6. Ghostbusters (1984)
Walter Peck (William Atherton) in Ghostbusters was valid in that they were in jeopardy, and he correctly investigated the storage facility and gear and explained an individual online source. He is a hero in the true sense because he saved a lot of Manhattan that had become wrecked land by the actions of Ghostbusters.
7. Lion King (1994)
The hyenas in The Lion King were forcibly punished by Mufasa, voiced by James Earl Jones, merely because the lions did not like them and they wanted to eat meat, commented a user. Hyenas and Lion are both carnivorous. It doesn't make sense that the hyenas were considered villains and Mufasa, the hero, and when the hyenas sang their song of sovereignty, it was about how they would have food with freedom.
8. The Little Mermaid (1989)
The father of Ariel (Jodi Benson) is not a villain but an antagonist; his point of view has invariably been right, and an individual shared his perspective on an online platform. The cause behind prohibiting Ariel from going to the surface was that humans killed Ariel's mother. Her father feared for her security, but being a teenager with bursting emotions, she didn't listen and fell into Ursula's trap.
9. Continuum (2013)
Continuum is science fiction with the cast of Gillian Anderson, Rufus Sewell, and Victor Garber; the movie is about time travel. While describing the film's plot, an individual said it becomes evident with time which side you will support. Continuum tells the story of people who time travel to fix the future that people rule without consideration for humanity. The main characters consider saving the timeline rather than changing the future for good.
10. The Black Panther (2018)
One of the most hit movies is Marvel, with an incredible cast of Chadwick Boseman and Michael B. Jordanian. The ideologies of villain Erik Killmonger in The Black Panther were straight and valid to the point that even T'Challare acknowledged his point of view in the end, commented our user. He's against the reality that despite the power of world-class technologies, Wakanda doesn't care about the miseries ongoing in the world and instead decides to keep them undercover from the rest of the globe.
