Here's the funny thing about the past. The past is something that's already happened. It's a finite thing that's already occurred so we can look back upon it.
We can't see the future.
We can only have vision for the future about what may happen.
And the past is something concrete and we as humans, myself included, for some reason always look back upon the past and let it take up so much of today.
I implore you; the reason you may not be as successful in any area of life that you're wanting to be successful in is because you're remembering your past failures and letting those impact you today.
Throw away the past as far as the East is from the West.
The reality is right now is the present.
You can have autonomy over right now. you can have autonomy over today and today most certainly affects the future.
Become really self-aware on whether you're. keeping the past in the present and allowing it to affect you negatively
The reality is this. The longer you keep the past and what you have done or have not done in YOUR present the longer you're going to sit in the stagnant place.
Stagnant water doesn't do anybody any good. It has bacteria and mosquitos. I hate mosquitos.
Focus on what you can do today.
What you can focus on doing or being today?
How you can be consistent in what you want to be and stop saying “tomorrow”?
