There will always be things that men can do that women are judged for and vice versa. But sometimes it just doesn't seem fair.
1. Body Hair
“This. My brother has unkept facial hair? Perfectly fine. He just hasn’t gotten used to looking after it yet. I (a woman) have facial hair possibly due to a medical condition? It’s disgusting, unattractive and I should constantly be removing it because I’m female,” one woman shared.
Unkempt facial hair should be a no-no for anyone, but sometimes we can't control where hair grows, and we certainly shouldn't be shamed for that.
2. Not Wanting Children
“For some reason, not wanting children. Family will constantly try to convince me that ‘i will want children sooner or later' or that ‘its not that bad giving birth'. My brother however said it once or twice that he doesn't want kids and everyone is just okay with it. My parents already have a grandchild from my stepsister and my mom says that ‘she still needs one from me' there's more but it would make her sound like in insane parent,” one person shared.
Some people just don't want to be parents, and that's okay. No matter which gender you are, you should have the right to choose the path of parenthood for yourself without receiving pressure from others.
3. Being Direct
“I've been in many situations in life that I have faced with direct communication, almost always to be told that I'm too bold or too audacious. I'm not sure why directness from a feminine energy puts people off,” one woman said. Feminine energy is attractive until it's not, right?
4. Not Wearing Make-Up
“When a dude says he prefers women with no makeup and then his example is a woman wearing visible makeup,” one woman quipped. I mean c'mon Joe, did you really think her pores disappeared in 45 minutes?
5. Giving Kids Fast Food and Wearing Pajamas in Public
“When it comes to parenting, giving your kids fast food and them wearing pajamas in public. If a dad does it, he’s fun but if a mom does it she’s lazy,” one woman pointed out. Pajamas and slides aren't cute on anyone, least of all a grown man. Let's not normalize it.
6. Ineptitude in Household Tasks
“I’ve had to explain this to my husband before, while cleaning up before company (his mom, probably). He asked why I bothered with it, because no one cares what the house looks like. I told him ‘No one notices if your house is messy, but they’ll definitely notice that my house is messy.' He says ‘It’s the same house! It’s both of ours!' Doesn’t matter. It reflects on me, not him. It’s generally one of our parents, though. Thankfully our friends and siblings don’t seem to notice mess,” one woman said.
“Weaponized incompetence” is a real thing, people. Stop telling your wife to take out the trash because “she's better at it.” A dog could be trained to take out the trash. Do better, Jerry.
7. Anger
“That's because men decided anger isn't an emotion when THEY feel it. But when a woman is angry, she's being too emotional. Can't tell a man they're being emotional, though, cause anger isn't an emotion when it's them showing it,” one woman pointed out. No, having an uncontrollable temper doesn't make you more manly, Billy. Get it together and stop yelling all the time before you ruin your vocal cords. We can hear you just fine.
8. Dad Bods
“THIS. I’ve never really been embarrassed of my mom figure until I went on a cruise with my husband this year. He entered into a “belly flop” competition and I remember the female emcee just completely GUSHING about his beer gut and how “this is what we want to see for this competition…nice and round!”. I understood the entertainment value in it, but couldn’t help but think about whether the reception would be the same for my round, post-2 kids belly,” one woman shared. Your wife just had a baby, John. What's your excuse? And “too many beers on the golf course with the boys” isn't a valid answer.

9. Bachelor Life
“A guy can be a bachelor but a woman is just ‘wasting time letting her eggs die,'” someone said. Always gotta bring up the biological clock. Must be nice to not have one, Richard.
10. Having a Different Opinion
‘Having differing opinions and being open about it. I see too many women, myself included, that disagree with men and just go along with it,” someone said. Your ego can't be that fragile, Frank.
