1. Prehensile-Tailed Porcupines

They have short, stout legs and large ears that can hear predators from a distance. Hyraxes have tusks, but they are not used for fighting. Instead, they use them to dig up roots and tubers for food.

Native to Mexico and Southern USA, the Ring-tail Cat is a unique mammal species easily recognizable by its distinctive striped tail. These small creatures are related to raccoons and are known for their agility and incredible climbing skills. Despite their name, Ring-tail Cats are not actually felines but rather belong to the family Procyonidae, which also includes coatis and olingos.

Tenrecs are also unique in that they have a flexible snout that can be used to probe for insects and other small prey.
