Scammers are coming up with new and innovative ideas to scam people in various ways and get what they want. In most scams, they approach through calls. Here are some of the common phrases you hear on calls. Make sure to double-check and, if necessary, break the interaction.
1. Urgent Action Required
This is a classic one. The scammers try to create an atmosphere and sense of urgency, which leaves you with little or no time to think further. You end up clicking on a fake link or transferring money without further confirmation.
2. Dear Customer
The people who even claim that they could never be scammed may fall for this scam as it's related to some business or product they purchased from the store, and now they are trying to sell you something or asking for advance payment for their product.
3. Act Now Before It's Too Late
These are often calls about you winning a hefty price, and you are given a choice to pay a small price to get it, or you will not receive it. Some people fall victim to such scams, pay in greed, and lose money.
4. You Are the Lucky Winner and Tons of Money Is Waiting for Their Owner
Sometimes, out of the blue, you receive a call and get this phrase from the other side, which will get you excited and shocked, but the real catch would be they will ask you to click the link to claim it and give a small pay all these are clear signs that the person is trying to scam you.
5. Confirm Your Personal Information
If you receive a call claiming they need to confirm your personal information, know they are trying to scam you. They will talk in so much flow that you won't even notice what you are doing. It is better to stay vigilant when taking calls from an unknown number.
6. I Am Your Friend Talking. I Need Urgent Money Right Now
This is the most straightforward but successful scam, with multiple people in its trap. We all love our family and friends, and if they call us urgently and ask for money, most of us will reluctantly transfer the requested amount. The scammer knows this weakness and efficiently traps people.
7. Give Us Your Card Number and the Password You Got in the SMS
There have been multiple scams related to bank calls, etc., and know that never, in any case, does a bank call you and ask you for your card number and details, and if someone from the bank is claiming, hangs up and doesn't respond further.
8. Your Brother Just Had a Car Accident; Quickly Transfer the Necessary Amount to the Account
Scammers know that humans, in case of an emergency involving their loved ones, would take immediate action without further questioning. That's why it's said to try to think clearly and calmly in emergencies or double-check what is claimed on the call.
9. You Have Received a Fine and Must Pay It Immediately, or We Are Going to Court
No one is prepared to receive a call randomly and be informed that there is a fine in their name and that things would get serious if it's not paid. Most people get scared of the threat and pay the amount immediately without thinking twice about whether it might be a scam.

Most want to earn some extra dollars through an easy path to meet the ends. Scammers take advantage of such a situation. They will lure you and ask for a subscription fee or to click on a shady link to access something. All of it is a scam you should avoid.
11. Can You Hear Me
Another dangerous scam involves a bot calling and asking if you can hear me check your phone's update. If you say yes, your voicemail will be recorded, which could be used against you in many cases. In short, you will become the victim of identity theft just by saying yes.

12. Only Say What I Tell You To Say
If some stranger from any considerable authority is telling you to lie in a significant matter, then it's a great trigger that it will be a scam. The prominent authorities know the severe consequences of such acts and would never ask Anyone to lie.
13. Don't Hang Up
One of the tactics used by scammers to keep you engaged is saying Don't hang up the call while transferring money or anything. Know that a scam is being plotted against you, and you should immediately hang up.
14. Don’t Trust Anyone. Don’t Tell Anyone
While making a deal with you, they will try to block you from contacting Anyone further so their scam might not get exposed, and they will use this phrase: You should immediately cancel whatever the deal was.
15. We Have Kidnapped One of the Family Members and Require Immediate Money to Release Them.
These phrases could make a calm person lose their mind at the mention of their loved one's name. Still, the strategy is to double-check if it is even real, as the kidnapper would try to make the call short; conversely, the scammer would demand you to stay on the call in most cases.
