Amy turns out to be a master manipulator, a clever antihero character.

5. Planet of the Apes (1968)

Planet of the Apes is an American science fiction film directed by Franklin J. Schaffner. In the movie, George Taylor, an astronaut, crashes and lands on a planet in the distant future. The planet where brilliant species of apes are dominant and humans are enslaved. George escapes the captor and works to prove that he is from another planet. But the contortion nobody saw coming is that he was on Earth the entire time. It opened to him after he came across the ruins of the Statue of Liberty.

6. The Sixth Sense (1999)

As the name suggests, The Sixth Sense has Jaw-dropping plot turns. And this is the reason this movie is on the list. This American psychological thriller is on the list to blow your mind. It stars Bruce Willis as Malcolm Crowe. Malcolm, who is a child psychologist, treats a boy who claims to see and talk to the dead. Malcolm, throughout treatment, begins to reconnect with his wife, Anna. The masterful spin at the picture's end reveals that Malcolm was dead the whole time.

7. Gothika (2003)

I bet this movie leaves you clueless. The story is about a depressed psychiatrist, Dr. Miranda Grey, who wakes up as a patient in the asylum where she worked. The horrible thing is she has killed her husband with an axe. What is more concerning is that she has no memory of the incident. As the story continued, Miranda's husband and the sheriff have been killing girls for years. But the story has a mysterious conclusion as Dr. Grey can now see ghosts.

8. The Prestige (2006)

Christopher Nolan, known for his complex storytelling and Hollywood blockbusters, directed this masterpiece. The Prestige is based on the novel of the same name and depicts the story of two rival magicians, Alfred Borden (Christian Bale) and Robert Angier (Hugh Jackman). In the beginning, both learn the tricks together and engineer the nitty gritty of the magic tricks. But the fight erupts during a water tank trick when Robert’s wife dies, and he blames Alfred. The major curve in the movie is that Angier clones himself and kills clones every night, not knowing if he is original.

9. Remember Me (2010)

A coming-of-age romantic movie, Remember Me, may need to be better-viewed. But it has an unpredictable plot turn. The story follows a new couple, Tyler and Ally, as they figure out their relationship while haunted by past events.
