1. 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)

Its precise description of humans relying on computers and space travel makes it ahead of its time with the cast of Keir Dullea, Gary Lockwood, and William Sylvester. With an excellent cast of Harrison Ford, Rutger Hauer, and Sean Young and fantastic cinematography, Blade Runner is considered the future of the futuristic universe in cinema.

One of the finest works of director James Cameron, Terminator 2 is a story that follows the plot of saving a 10-year-old boy(Edward Furlong) who is considered the resistance of the future against robots. Humans from the future send identical robots to protect them from another Terminator T-1000(Robert Patrick). Because of its excellent CGI and effects, the movie is considered an outstanding work of CGI and effects.
