Some shows with beautiful storylines, plots, and directions don't reach their finish line and are canceled early on. From childhood, we are overhyped and invested in some shows, only to later know that they are canceled. Make your mind up and be ready to revisit our canceled shows, which leave us on cliffhangers.

1. My So-Called Life (1994)

A breeding couch for great actors! The show portrays Angela Chase's struggle to confront her challenges in school, with friends and parents, and move ahead. The star cast of the show was Jared Leto and Claire Danes, and they took the best out of their talent. However, the ending was open-ended, which left the fans on a cliffhanger and made them wish for season 2, but alas!

2. Ringer (2011)

A crime thriller full of twists and suspense! Sara Michelle owned the character of Bridget Kelly and Siobhan like no one else could have. A twisting demographics, plot, and fantastic performance of Sara made it a huge success. But, unfortunately, its climatic finale of season 1 didn't become another season and left the fans in dismay. The show got canceled, leaving no hope for a return.

3. The Punisher (2017)

A suspenseful sequence! The tense and bone-crushing actions in The Punisher glued the audience to their screens. The presence of Jon Bernthal made the show more promising and would have continued to season 3. Its unique plot and appealing direction made a significant impact on the viewer's heart. It would be another success for Jon Cap if it continued for the next season.

4. Hannibal (2013)

Inspired by the original novels of Thomas Harris, Hannibal left an inspiring and profound mark on audiences' minds. The performance of Mads Mickelson carried the show, and it became the darling show for a long time, claiming its success. Moreover, it continues for three seasons and takes away the tales of Hannibal from the audience's sight.

5. Firefly (2002)

A masterpiece in Sci-fi. On TV, it is one of the most picked series in the Sci-fi world. Interestingly, it got into the movie later on Serenity for a proper closer, as the show only got one season to run. But this one season left such charm and impression that it is still a prime show in this genre on TV screens.

6. Breaker High (1997)

It was a daytime show with a lot of cheesy stuff, drama, laughter, and fun for the audience. It was a student cruise trip featuring Ryan Gosling. But the show was canceled in 1998, which made the fans upset and quite heartbroken. Still, there are some true fans like Drake there who appreciate this household masterpiece.

7. Agent Carter (2015)

The super heroic actions and the day-to-day life fiddles in Agent Carter added a refreshing touch to the show. However, the budget and financial issues came in between, and the show continued for only two seasons, which had only 18 episodes. This new genre for the audience became a victim of money and ceased after two seasons.

8. Mindhunter (2017)

A brilliance in the entertainment industry! It was an all-in-one show for the audience, and it had all the attributes and spices of excellence. But sometimes, even the big names couldn't save the shows like David Fincher's case in this show. It is pretty sad not to see the best shows ending at their finish lines and just canceled in between.

9. Santa Clarita Diet (2017)

A lively, exciting, and fun show! A sudden twist of Sheila becoming a zombie in the show made it more interesting for the audience to watch. However, the show still didn't gain healthy popularity and closed after three seasons. Still, apart from this, the show's loyal fanbase is still there, which is upset by this cliffhanging ending with no proper closure.

10. Undergrads (2001)

A simple story creating a cult fanbase is a massive success for the creators. It was all about the four friends finding their freshmen year with a brilliant animated direction. However, it said goodbye to the fans after only one season. There was a try for the movie on this show, which also does not seem to be completed in the coming years.
