A perfect blend of horror and sci-fiction, Coherence focuses on excellent mind-twisting turns of events when eight friends gather for a dinner party, and a comment passes the earth. The story and plot are dark and captivating, with the cast of Emily Baldoni, Maury Sterling, and Nicholas Brendon, directed by James Ward Byrkit. Still, it deserved more audience recognition.

5. Travelers (2016-2018)

There are many apocalyptic-centered films and series, but catching sight of a post-apocalyptic sequence is infrequent. Travelers, with a cast of Eric McCormack, Mac Kenzie Porter, and Nesta Cooper, portrays the story of individuals who are sent back to the past to modify history so that the apocalypse and the fortune won't be disastrous. The series is quite distinguishable from the traditional and a hidden gem.

6. Dark (2017-2020)

Dark is the first German TV series on one of the largest streaming platforms. It is filled with horror elements and mysterious puzzles. The story shows how the four families in the old town have connected since 1986 and their sinful pasts when two children from the city go missing, and they try to find them. The sequel is genuinely worth watching and will make you rewatch it again to grasp the plot.

7. The OA (2016-2019)

It is a suspense drama thriller tale of a girl who reappears after going missing for eight years and returns home. Her return is not the only thing that sounds like a miracle; the real deal is she is not blind anymore but refuses to speak about the events that ensued during her disappearance. The tale is one of the varieties you don't see often and goes unnoticed by the audience despite being astonishing.

8. Kodachrome (2017)
