For this, get rid of broken or malfunctioning items(if you don't want to fix them). Use this tip in every corner, be it your kitchen or wardrobe; if you have stashed a lot( both useful and useless), you have to do it again after some time.

Giving away the useless always helps to declutter your home. Ensure that you separate some of your useless items. If they are clothes or shoes, you can simply give them away to the needy. But if it's some old appliance or anything that you can't use now or do not even remember that you bought, you should give it away.
